Sarah Findle writes a nice post about how to trumpet your success in social media. With reporting, measurement and analysis reinventing itself every few months in the social space, I recommend not getting too set in your reporting ways. Instead, focus on high level objectives and some basic reports that demonstrate your success. Sarah’s suggestion of screenshots is one I use regularly for my clients. If we have a positive Facebook endorsement, we capture and share it in sort of a “story book”. We also write up very brief case studies demonstrating the success of a platform by showing examples.
